Banana Cake Jello Dessert Recipe

This wonderful jello cake recipe combines bananas and nuts for a rich and flavorsome jello cake. Vanilla jello pudding is used and the additional of fresh bananas adds nutrients such as potassium as well as a great taste and texture.

Banana Jello Dessert Recipe

Ingredients -

2 ripe bananas
1 pack jello instant vanilla pudding (4 serving size)
2 layer size yellow cake mix
¼ cup oil
1 cup water
½ cup finely chopped nuts
4 eggs
Confectioner's sugar to decorate

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Slice the bananas into a large bowl and beat until well mashed.

Add the rest of the ingredients and blend well. Beat at a medium speed in an electric mixer for a couple of minutes then pour the mixture into a well greased and floured 10 inch tube, a 13 by 9 inch cake tin or a Bundt pan.

Bake for an hour or an hour and 10 minutes, until the cake is done.

Cool in the pan for 15 minutes then tip on to a wire rack to cool more.

Sprinkle the cake with confectioner's sugar.
