Out of all our gelatin desserts, this is one of the easiest jello recipes of them all. This coconut gelatin dessert is almost the opposite of broken glass gelatin desserts, when different flavors of jello and sliced up and combined, giving a broken glass effect. This smooth as silk gelatin dessert is flavored with coconut and vanilla, giving a wonderful tropical flavor.
This is not a fluffy jello dessert and it is not a complicated gelatin dessert either. If you want to make something simple but classy, this gelatin dessert recipe is perfect. Do not worry if you are completely new to making gelatin desserts either because this is an easy recipe. It is also a light and refreshing dessert if you have had a heavy meal and just fancy a fragrant and delicious dessert, rather than something too filling or too rich.
This dessert with caramel is really tasty and the caramel tastes so good with the coconut. It is a bit of an unusual flavor combination for a jello recipe but the flavors really do work nicely, and you can dress it up a bit with a colorful fruit and mint leaf garnish too.

Photo Description:
This is an elegant looking gelatin dessert. A lot of gelatin desserts are quite elegant actually, because many of them are stripy, made in decorative jello molds, or garnished nicely. There are easy gelatin desserts that you can serve your family after dinner and there are more elaborate ones, which would not be out of place at a buffet, dinner party, or celebratory event. This easy coconut gelatin dessert looks great and has a wonderful flavor. Because caramel is so sweet, it works well with flavors like coconut, which are not too sweet.
There are more uses for jello than making gelatin desserts. If you have some jello, you might like to make an easy coconut gelatin dessert or you might prefer to dye your hair! Jello contains food dye, which can be used to color your hair. You might want to know how to dye a beard green with jello for St Patrick's Day. This is possible too but remember jello hair dye is semi-permanent. If you want a green beard for a day, use a wash-out colorant. Jello dye lasts for about three weeks!
Put four tablespoons of hair conditioner in a bowl. Use something richly moisturizing if possible. Stir in whichever color of jello you want to use. Keep stirring as you add the jello powder. You do not want any clumps in the final mixture. Apply the jello and conditioner mixture to your hair, starting at the roots and massaging it all the way through to the tips.
Make sure every strand of hair is coated with the conditioner and jello mixture. If you have very long hair, double the amount of conditioner and jello. Gather your hair up and put a shower cap over your head, then set a timer for thirty minutes. Shower and rinse the conditioner out of your hair.
Your natural hair color determines the result of the jello hair color. Black hair will not work with a jello dye. Blonde or white hair will take on a color close to the jello color. Red or brown hair might end up a brownish shade, so do a strand test first to see what the end result will be.
