Making your own quick Kool-Aid jello treats is a lot more economical than buying popsicles and your kids will get excited the minute they spot you making them.

You can use any type of Kool-Aid you like and use a different flavor of jello if you prefer. There are lots of kinds of jello treats but nothing cools you down as well as delicious jello popsicles on a hot summer's day and once you have made these jello treats once your kids will be begging you to make them again and again.

Strawberry Jello Popsicle Treats

Ingredients -

1 package kool aid, any flavor
3 oz package strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 cup sugar

Preparation:

Dissolve the jello, sugar and kool aid in the boiling water, then add the cold water and stir well.

Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or popsicle molds. Freeze partially then add sticks and freeze for 3 hours until firm.

You can also make these in Dixie cups if you like.
