Strawberry and banana are well known to go together well and in the following recipe, these delicious fruits are used, as well as cream to make the jello mold recipe creamy and rich.
Pineapple, banana, and strawberries combine to make a really tropical flavored dessert and this jello mold recipe with strawberry and banana is really delicious. You can choose from strawberry-banana jello or tropical fusion jello, depending on what is available. Both are really good with this recipe. The frozen strawberries will have a lot of water clinging to them, in the form of ice, so they mean you do not have to add cold water, as well as boiling water, to the jello crystals.
The sour cream makes this strawberry banana jello mold opaque instead of clear and gives it a nice creamy flavor. This jello recipe is made in two parts, so the bottom layer of the jello mold is darker and creamier, and the top layer is smooth and clear.
