Tangy Lime Raspberry Cream Pie

If you are a fan of lime jello recipes, the following jello instant pudding pie should please you. This jello pie recipe features vanilla pudding, lime jello, Cool Whip, piecrust and fresh raspberries. Lime and raspberries go very well together in this jello instant pudding pie because the tartness of the lime balances out the sweetness of the berries.

Instant vanilla pudding mix is useful to make jello recipes or simply to enjoy by itself. It is perfect in this lime raspberry cream pie recipe because its distinctive vanilla flavor and creamy texture blends the sweet fruit with the tart lime juice.

Lime Jello Pie with Raspberries

Ingredients -

1 instant vanilla pudding mix, 4 serving size
1 ⅓ cups water
1 pack lime jello, 4 serving size
6 oz shortbread piecrust
1 ½ cups fresh raspberries
1 cup Cool Whip
⅔ cup nonfat dry milk powder
Lime slices, to garnish

Preparation:

Mix together the pudding mix, milk powder, jello powder, and water.

Whisk well, and then blend in ¼ of the Cool Whip.

Fold all but 8 raspberries into the pudding mixture, and then spread it into piecrusts.

Chill for 10 minutes in the refrigerator, and then spread the rest of the Cool Whip over the filling.

Use the rest of the raspberries and the lime slices to garnish.

Chill in the refrigerator for 90 minutes.
