The difference between this chocolate jello recipe and many other chocolate jello recipes is that this one uses tofu as an ingredient. Tofu is a product, which is used to give consistency to recipes. It has very little flavor and is usually marinated when used in recipes. You might be surprised to learn that tofu can be used to make dessert recipes, like this healthy yet delicious jello chocolate mousse recipe, and it works brilliantly. Tofu is made from soy beans, so it goes just as well in recipes like this jello chocolate mousse as it does in savory recipes. Try it and you will see!
This is a chocolate and vanilla flavored mousse, which is light, airy, and full of flavor. Using cocoa powder instead of chocolate stops it from being too sweet. This is a great jello dessert recipe for those who do not like overly sweet things.
The vanilla and cocoa complement one another perfectly in this delicious jello recipe and the whipping cream makes it smooth and silky. If you like jello salad recipes and jello cake recipes, which are nutritious as well as indulgent, the following chocolate mousse recipe is sure to tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more.
